The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Popular in Europe and New Orleans in the late 1800's, Absinthe was soon banned as being the cause of insanity. In the style of Alfonse Mucha, my version showcases the illusive "green fairy" that was made by dropping water over sugar cubes resting on a decorative silver spoon.
