Artist's Description

A Moses Botkin Challenge group monthly theme, "Ides of March". The Bloody Caesar is a drink made famous in Canada. Similar to a Bloody Mary, but uses Clamato juice instead of tomato. The abalone shells particularly drew my attention with all the different colors that interplay to create the iridescence. The Gold Leaf is very subtle and broken, so as to not be the focal point.
