Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Originally painted for the Moses Botkin Challenge of "Unmade Bed". I was all set to paint the bed all messed up when the boyz hopped up for a review of the neighborhood. This was their favorite spot in the house because from the 2nd floor window they had a view of all activity.
